Ice trays
BLOCK ICE, ANSWERED.
Big Block Tray, Big Block Tray Pro and Little Block Tray Pro.
Which ice tray should I choose?
Big Block Tray Pro (5.5kg block): stacks up to 3 high, so you can freeze more at once.
Big Block Tray (5.5kg block): the original giant block. It doesn't stack.
Little Block Tray Pro (3.5kg block): a smaller, stackable tray that freezes faster and uses less freezer space.
Short on freezer space? Go Pro. Want the biggest block possible? Go Big.
How big are the trays and blocks?
Big Block Tray: 31 x 21 x 12 cm, makes a 5.5kg block.
Big Block Tray Pro: 30 x 19 x 13.5 cm, makes a 5.5kg block.
Little Block Tray Pro: 29 x 18 x 13 cm, makes a 3.5kg block.
Measure your freezer shelf or drawer before you order.
Can I stack the trays in my freezer?
The Big Block Tray Pro stacks up to 3 high when filled with water, and the Little Block Tray Pro is stackable too. The original Big Block Tray isn't stackable.
Every tray comes with a lid, which keeps stacking clean and makes storage easier.
What are the trays made from?
Food-grade, BPA-free silicone with a stainless-steel frame or rim, which keeps the tray sturdy and helps prevent warping or cracking. A lid is included.
How long does a block take to freeze?
Around 48 hours or more, depending on your freezer's size and settings. The Little Block Tray Pro freezes faster than the 5.5kg trays.
For best results, fill with cold water, leave a little space for expansion and place the tray flat in the coldest part of your freezer.
How do I get the block out?
Run warm water over the base, or leave the tray in the sun for 1 to 2 minutes, then push the block up from underneath. No force is needed.
Never use knives, screwdrivers or tools to remove ice.
Can I carry a full tray?
Yes. The reinforced rim keeps the tray stable when it's full. Use two hands and keep it level to avoid spills.
How many trays do I need?
A block takes 48 hours or more to freeze, so a multi-pack lets you run a rotation: some trays freezing while others are in the esky. Multi-packs also cost less per tray than single units.
Do the blocks melt slower than bagged ice?
Yes. One large block has far less surface area than a bag of small pieces, so it melts more slowly. That's why our trays make block ice for longer-lasting cooling, with less meltwater in your esky.
Can I use block ice in an ice bath?
Yes. Many customers use blocks to bring the water temperature down before a plunge. For hands-free temperature control, see our chillers.
How do I look after my tray?
Allow the tray to thaw briefly before removing the ice, and avoid contact with sharp objects such as knives, hooks, blades and fish spines. Don't cut, puncture or forcefully pry the tray.
A printed care card comes in every order. You can also download it here.
What isn't covered by the tray warranty?
Damage from punctures, cuts, tears or sharp objects is considered accidental damage and isn't covered. Manufacturing defects are covered for 12 months. See Returns and warranty below.
Ice cubes
COLD WITHOUT THE MELT.
Flo Freeze Cubes Mini and Max: reusable, pre-filled and freezer-ready.
What are Flo Freeze Cubes?
Reusable ice cubes with a sealed, BPA-free shell filled with purified water. Freeze them, load them into your esky, cooler bag or ice bath, then rinse, dry and refreeze. No servo runs, no meltwater.
What's the difference between Mini and Max?
Mini: 120 cubes per bag (2.7cm cubes), built for everyday cooling: lunch boxes, cooler bags, drinks and BBQs.
Max: 130 oversized cubes in a 5kg bag, built for eskies, ice chests and ice baths.
Do they actually stay cold?
Yes. They freeze solid and hold their temperature like regular ice, without melting into water. No flooding, no soggy food and no watered-down drinks.
How long do they stay cold?
In our Aussie heat test (28°C), one bag lasted 36 hours (Mini) and 60 hours (Max). More bags means longer cold.
Results vary with your esky, how you pack it and the outside temperature, but they're built to go the distance.
What are they filled with?
Purified water, sealed inside a durable, BPA-free shell. No gel, no chemicals and no weird blue liquid.
Are they safe around food and drinks?
Yes. The cubes are sealed, BPA-free and food safe. Use them directly in drinks, around food or in your esky.
How many cubes come in a bag?
Mini: 120 cubes. Max: 130 cubes. Exact bag weight can vary slightly with fill level, but the cube count stays the same.
How do I clean and reuse them?
Rinse with water, let them dry, then refreeze. Freeze once, reuse again and again.
Will they water down my drinks?
No. They stay sealed, so nothing melts into your drink or over your catch.
Can I use cubes with block ice?
Yes, and it's the best way to pack. Put a block ice base in the bottom of the esky, your gear in the middle and cubes on top to fill gaps and lock the cold in.
Can I use the cubes in an ice bath?
The Max cubes are built for eskies, ice chests and ice baths. They're a handy way to top up the cold without watering the bath down.
Are the cubes covered by warranty?
Yes, for manufacturing defects for 12 months. Damage from punctures, cuts or sharp objects isn't covered, so keep cubes away from hooks, blades and fish spines.
Ice baths & chillers
READY TO PLUNGE?
Flo Pod, Pod Pro, Vault and Axis ice baths, plus the Flo Chiller Pro and Max.
Which ice bath is right for me?
Flo Pod (320L): our lightweight, compact entry point. Use it as a stand-alone plunge and chill it with ice.
Flo Pod Pro (420L): reinforced, larger, and chiller compatible.
Flo Vault (420L): 5cm insulated drop-stitch walls, a lockable Chill-Lock Lid, and a carry bag.
Flo Axis (420L): our flagship, with 10cm insulated drop-stitch walls, a reinforced outer shell and a Chill Lock Lid.
How much water does each bath hold?
Flo Pod: up to 320L. Flo Pod Pro, Vault and Axis: 420L. The Vault is designed for users up to 6'9" tall.
Do I need a chiller?
Should I get the Pro or the Max chiller?
Flo Chiller Pro: 1125W of cooling, drops the water to 3°C, dual filtration (large filter plus hair strainer), IPX5 rated.
Flo Chiller Max: 3100W of cooling and 3600W of heating (up to 42°C), reaches 0°C, dual filters plus UV sterilisation, IPX5 rated, with app control.
Which baths work with which chillers?
Flo Pod Pro: Flo Chiller Pro. Flo Vault and Flo Axis: both the Pro and the Max. The standard Flo Pod is designed as a stand-alone plunge that you cool with ice.
How cold (and warm) can the water get?
With the Pro chiller, down to 3°C. With the Max, down to 0°C, and it can heat the water up to 42°C. With ice only, the temperature depends on how much ice you use and the conditions.
How do I look after my chiller?
Replace the paper filters regularly, clean the hair strainer often, keep the flow meter clear of debris, keep water flowing freely and run the system on clean water.
Blocked filters, debris, contamination or poor maintenance aren't covered by warranty, so keep up with maintenance. Filters are consumables.
How often should I change the filters?
Swap the paper filters every two weeks. Our Flo Thermo Filters come in a 4-pack, which covers 8 weeks of use. A 20 micron pleated 10" x 2.5" cartridge is also available.
Can I keep my ice bath outside?
The Vault and Axis are built for indoor or outdoor use all year round. UV or weather-related damage and incorrect storage aren't covered by warranty, so store your bath as the manual describes.
What is the Chill-Lock Lid?
A lockable lid on the Vault and Axis. It helps hold the temperature and keeps the water cleaner between plunges.
How does the Flo app work?
Our chillers include wireless connectivity so you can control and monitor them from your phone. Once your chiller is connected, don't remove the device from the app. Doing so can permanently prevent wireless reconnection. If it happens, a replacement display or control panel can be supplied, but parts and freight are at the customer's cost.
Does the Vault pack down?
Yes. The Flo Vault packs down into its own carry bag for easy transport.
What accessories do I need?
The Flo Ice Bath Floor Mat (non-slip, quick-drying, mould-resistant), the Flo Floating Thermometer and Flo Thermo Filters are the most useful add-ons.
Do you offer installation or servicing?
Not as a standard service. Support is provided remotely across Australia, through email, phone where required, video troubleshooting and replacement parts. It's usually faster than an onsite visit.
Is cold water immersion safe for everyone?
Not necessarily. Cold water immersion isn't suitable for everyone. If you have a medical condition, are pregnant or are unsure, speak to your doctor before using an ice bath.
Bundles & gifts
BUILT TO WORK TOGETHER.
Freeze Systems, multi-packs, gift cards and shipping protection.
What is the Freeflo Freeze System?
A complete ice solution that pairs our large silicone block trays with reusable ice cube bags. The blocks give you slow-melting cold and the cubes surround your food and drinks, so your esky stays colder for longer without single-use bagged ice.
It's available in four sizes: Weekender, Explorer, Expedition and Ultimate.
How do blocks and cubes work together?
Block ice below, gear in the middle, cubes on top. The block is your long-lasting cold base and the cubes fill the gaps and lock the cold in.
Do multi-packs save money?
Yes. Multi-packs of trays, cubes and bags are priced lower per item than single units, and our bundles often include extra gear.
Do you sell gift cards?
Yes. Freeflo Gift Cards come in $50, $100, $200 and $500 values, are delivered instantly by email and can be used storewide.
What is Shipping Protection?
An optional add-on at the cart. If something happens to your parcel, we'll send your order out again without delay.

Backorders & pre-orders
WORTH THE WAIT.
What happens when something sells out.
What is a backorder?
Occasionally our most sought-after items sell out faster than expected. When that happens we open a backorder so you can secure your item as soon as it's available again.
When will my backordered item ship?
Shipping dates depend on stock arriving, but we work hard to keep delays short. When you order, you'll see an estimated shipping timeframe. Backorders are fulfilled in the order they were received.
Can I cancel or change a backorder?
Yes. If your plans change before your item ships, email hello@freefloclub.com.au and we'll help with cancellations or changes.
How will I know when it's ready to ship?
We'll email you when your item is back in stock and dispatched, with tracking. As a small team we can't give individual updates for every backorder enquiry, so keep an eye on the email address you used for your order.
What if my order has in-stock and backordered items?
We'll typically ship the available items first, and the backordered items follow as soon as they arrive, at no extra shipping cost to you.
Where will I see backorder notices?
On the product page, in your cart, at checkout and in your order confirmation email, so there are no surprises.
What is a pre-order?
A pre-order is an item that's reserved before stock lands. It ships once stock arrives, and the estimated dispatch time is shown on the product page.

How do I make a warranty claim?
Email hello@freefloclub.com.au. To assess your claim we may ask for photos, videos, order details, proof of maintenance (where applicable) and troubleshooting information. Claims are assessed case by case.
Please keep the product while we assess it. Don't dispose of it without our written approval.
What happens once my claim is assessed?
Depending on the issue, the solution may be troubleshooting help, replacement parts, a repair, a replacement product, or a refund where required under Australian Consumer Law. Where a fault can reasonably be repaired we may send a repair or replacement part before replacing the whole product.
Can I return something if I change my mind?
No. We don't offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind, ordering the wrong item, no longer needing the product, a parcel arriving after your trip or event, or finding it cheaper elsewhere. If your order hasn't been dispatched yet, contact us as soon as possible.
Nothing in our policy excludes, restricts or modifies your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
Do you offer onsite warranty service?
No. To keep costs down and support Australia-wide, we provide warranty support remotely: email, phone where required, video troubleshooting and replacement parts. Freeflo Club doesn't provide onsite installation, servicing or warranty callouts as a standard service.
What are cosmetic variations?
Minor marks or differences from manufacturing or shipping, such as small moulding variations, surface creasing or packaging marks. They don't affect performance, safety or durability and aren't considered defects.
What about my rights under Australian Consumer Law?
Our goods come with guarantees that can't be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. You're entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage, and to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure isn't a major failure.
